Terms of Service

Figure helps you discover your color season, body type, style archetype, and skin profile, and suggests products based on those results. The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.

All recommendations — style, color, and skincare — are for informational and entertainment purposes only. They are not professional advice of any kind, including medical, dermatological, or cosmetic advice. Skin-related output is not a diagnosis and should never replace consultation with a qualified dermatologist or healthcare provider. We make no guarantee that any recommendation is accurate, complete, suitable, safe, or available for purchase. Always patch test new skincare products and follow the manufacturer's instructions.

Figure earns commission on qualifying purchases made through product links in the app (including Rakuten Advertising, CJ Affiliate, Impact, Awin, and the ASOS affiliate program), at no additional cost to you. See our Privacy Policy for the full disclosure. Purchases you make are transactions with the retailer, not with Figure — pricing, availability, shipping, returns, and product quality are the retailer's responsibility.

You agree not to:

• Upload photos of anyone other than yourself without that person's clear consent. Never upload photos of children.
• Upload unlawful, infringing, hateful, or sexually explicit content.
• Misuse the service — including scraping, automated abuse, attempting to overwhelm or circumvent rate limits, reverse engineering, or interfering with other users.
• Use Figure for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable law.

You're responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old (or 13 where permitted by local law) to use Figure.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, violate these terms, or create risk for us or other users. You can stop using Figure at any time and request deletion of your account and data.

Figure's name, branding, design, code, and generated content frameworks belong to Figure. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.

You keep the rights to what you upload. By uploading a photo or submitting assessment answers, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely to provide the service to you — for example, sending a photo to our AI analysis provider and generating your results. This license ends when the content is deleted, and it does not allow us to use your content for advertising or to train third-party models on your behalf.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Figure and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service — including any purchase decision made based on a recommendation.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (currently zero for beta users) or US$50. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, in which case they apply only to the extent permitted.

We may update these terms as the product develops. If changes are material, we'll notify you by email or an in-app notice before or when they take effect and update the date above. Continuing to use Figure after that means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in that jurisdiction.
